Priyadarshini Park
One of the best parks in Mumbai, it has become more of a community meeting place of sorts. The kids play on swings and slides while their parents take the opportunity to catch up. The senior citizens can be seen doing mild yoga or laughing it out at the numerous laughter clubs. Priyadarshini Park is on Napean Sea Road and overlooks the Arabian Sea.
Hanging Gardens and Kamala Nehru Park
Kamala Nehru Park is part of Hanging Gardens at Malabar Hill. It is home to an odd-looking giant shoe structure with a door, stairs and a balcony for kids and adults to climb on. This manicured garden is a much-needed green patch, away from the buildings and traffic in the city.
Jio Garden
Jio Garden in Bandra sprawls over a huge area of almost 1,40,000 sq. ft. It has all the shiny fixings like water fountains, lotus ponds, huge seating areas, etc. This cultural hub has a nominal entry fee of Rs. 10 and admits entry to the general public on non-event days. Joggers Park
Joggers Park is the best park in Mumbai for celebrity spotting. Inhale the pleasant breeze blowing in from the Arabian Sea while you sweat it out in this park. You can choose to stick around until sunset to see the pretty picture that paints the sky. It is located near Carter Road and offers a great view of the sea. Who knows, you may spot your favourite celebrity too!
Horniman Circle Garden
Soothe yourself in the presence of the stunning water fountain at Horniman Circle Garden, arguably the best garden in Mumbai. Sit on a bench after an energetic walk and marvel at the splendid Victorian buildings that surround it. This spot at Fort, Mumbai is a must-visit for everybody travelling to the ‘City of Dreams’.
Shivaji Park
Shivaji Park, often dubbed "Mumbai's cricket school", is where cricket legends like Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar trained as kids. This is still a place where many young cricket players train regularly. You can make use of the many features here like the open-air gyms, football grounds, walking tracks and badminton courts. This famous park that doubles as a training ground is located in Dadar.
